The Ann Rains Photography Dance Ambassador Team is made up of dancers ages 8-19 who LOVE being in front of a camera, are confident and friendly, and want to make a difference in the dance community.
Dancers must have a minimum of 1 year of ballet training and be at least 8 years old by September 1, 2024. We will have 3 teams of Ambassadors for 2024-2025:
Juniors (Ages 8-10)
Teens (Ages 11-14)
Seniors (Ages 15-19)
You get to participate in free creative styled shoots, meet new friends in the dance community, express your creativity outside the dance studio, all while growing your dance portrait portfolio. You represent the ARP brand by referring your friends with your discount as an ambassador. When you refer three booked dancers to ARP, your required $450 Spotlight Session starring just you is half off, and when you refer five dance friends - you get your Spotlight Session for FREE!
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE AN ARP AMBASSADOR?
You will be required to attend a minimum of 2 group photo shoots (you can attend more than 2!). You will receive FREE images from all shoots you attend.
Each group shoot will have a different theme! One of the best parts of these opportunities is being able to express yourself as a dancer outside of the dance studio. When the art of dance is combined with the art of photography, as beautiful new art medium is created. You as a dancer bring your own style, knowledge and technique, and I as a photographer bring my own style and photography knowledge and together we create a new art medium -Dance Portraits!
ARP Ambassadors are strong dancers, comfortable in front of a camera, friendly and outgoing, committed to uniting the dance community, encouraging of your fellow teammates, and a good representative of your dance studio and the ARP brand.
Your job is to help grow the dance client base for ARP by referring your dance friends and sharing your portraits on social media on a regular basis.
You will be invited to attend at least three styled photo shoots, as well as have potential opportunities to model for dance related stores and brands. You will receive FREE images from all events you attend.
During your term you are required to book your private Spotlight Session starring just YOU, you can earn this session for half off or even free by referring your dance friends to ARP. This includes all high resolution digital images, several outfit changes, free access to the ARP Dance Closet items and a special promotion on ARP social media. You must be willing to attend photo shoots in Flagler, St. Johns, and Volusia County areas, and the session must be completed between March 1, 2025 - April 15, 2025.
The 2024 term will run from October 2024 through May 2025.
THEMED EVENTS
ON LOCATION
Each styled shoot event will have a fun new theme. One of the best parts of these opportunities is being able to express yourself as a dancer outside of the dance studio. You as a dancer bring your own style, knowledge and technique, and I as a photographer bring my own style and photography knowledge and together we create a new art medium - Dance Photography!
All events are always free, but when you refer three friends who book a dance session, your own spotlight session is 50% off. If you refer five booking friends, then your spotlight session is free! Friends that you refer also receive a 10% discount.
In the true spirit of "community over competition" you are always welcome to work with other photographers during your term as an ambassador. You are welcome to be ambassadors, spokesmodels and representatives for other brands such as dance wear, etc. but you many only represent the ARP brand for photography.
SPOTLIGHT SESSION
YOUR TIME TO SHINE
During your term as an ambassador we will meet one on one to do your very own dance portrait session at a mutually agreed upon location. These spotlight sessions allow you to express yourself as a dancer, stretch your dance imagination, wear several outfit options, receive all the high resolution digital images and be featured on the ARP Instagram page. Normally $450, you can earn this for half off or even free for referring your friends! But, don't worry, you have plenty of time to refer friends and we also offer a payment plan for all of our sessions and packages.
Being an ARP Ambassador means you are a LEADER in the dance community. You will represent not only the ARP brand, your dance studio, the dance community at large, but you also get to model in styled shoots. This year EVERY ambassador will get to participate in a special event that I am planning and will announce at a later date.
The best part of being an ARP ambassador is the community you will find. When you are a member of the #ARPsquad you have a built in circle of friends who share your love of creating beautiful art. You will meet new friends, have a blast at fun photo shoots, and receiving amazing photos is just an added bonus for building your online social presence to help further your dance career.
One of the perks of the ARP team is getting to try new creative ideas with Ann before they become available to the public.
HOW TO APPLY

We are looking for fresh new talent to join our innaugural team. If you love the ARP brand, are committed to your part of the collaboration, want to unite the dance community while earning credits toward your own discounted or free spotlight session, now is your chance!
Dancers will be asked to submit 3 pictures of themselves that show their technique, flexibility, and creativity as a dancer! Cell phone photos are fine!
If you are accepted, there will be a $75 fee, which will cover the cost of items needed for group shoots & your Ambassador welcome package!
An ambassador program is a win-win for both sides. You get at least four photo shoots for less than the price of one (or even free!), a built in community, new dance friends, modeling opportunities, AR
P merch and more! In return, you simply have to spread the word about Ann Rains Photography by regularly sharing your beautiful photos on social media and referring your friends to ARP. It's a beautiful relationship!
